Nigel is a very earnest monkey who takes his studies very seriously. In between his Multivariable Calculus class and preparing for his second summiting of K2 he maintains an active social life; managing to get at least a match or two of cricket in with his school chums before the week's end. A real heart breaker, Nigel is currently single and looking for that right primate who can let him be him, enjoys his zest for life and eatting just barely ripe bananas.
TREES! I clear cut a forest of fabric to make these trees. These little cuties can adorn any home decor and bring the outdoors in. That is if you consider the outdoors full of felt, buttons, and thread. One very special tree will be available to a lucky individual. This tree has been "distressed" by baby oliver our 4 month old 50 pound great dane. He decided to help himself and take his supervisory roll to the next level and add an embellishment of teeth marks and slobber (his signature style) to one of the trees. 
With quite surprise I have "discovered" that Vivian, our Sulcata Tortoise is no longer the sweet dainty lady we thought she was. Miss Vivian as it turns out is really Mr. Vivian. I happened upon Mr. Vivian's Mr. Business today while in the backyard. Apparently during mating season males will seek an outlet for their sexuality. And not being a particularly picky male, he chose his outlet in the form of a large patch of tall grass and some avocado leaves. I didn't realize our Miss/Mr. Vivian wasn't very discerning when it comes to matters of the heart.
Black thumb-ers unite! Despite my best efforts things are a-bloom here at casa de monkeys always look. The yard is full of color. Check back next week... certainly something by then will have been killed by lack of water and total neglect.
I am excited to announce that I will be selling my wares on August 2! We are having a neighborhood wide garage sale, where I think it will be an excellent venue to debut Monkeys Always Look! I will be selling a lot of potted plans and vintage pieces as well as some repurposed items.

We had a ton of cactus that needed some extra loving so I created the cactus infirmary. Most of our patients are doing well and back on the road to recovery. Their aliments ranged from lack of water (most common complaint) to the usually rare but seemingly more common "Dog Foot Crush" and "Total Animation By Killer Tail Wags". The new infirmary is far out of reach of both tails and paws. So if the lack of water infections doesn't return, we should have a crop of healthy happy cacti or as I like to use the vernacular cactuses.
