Somehow Marley knows that her waitress, also know as my husband, is coming home early today. So she is patiently waiting at the window for him. People always ask what it is like to live with Great Danes, well this is a great example. They can sit on the sofa, with front feet on the ground and think that technically she is not sitting on the sofa, which she is not allowed to do. So this is totally legitimate behavior, and making great use of the mid century sofa her mommy paid tons of money for! Oh and the gray fuzzy blanket that is keeping her bum warm... that is the cat's!
I did a really bad thing... I dropped the camera the other day and it refuses to work. I can't believe I did something like that. Fortunately it was only our little point and shoot and not our professional lizard hunting documentation camera. But needless to say, I am too lazy to get that out and keep using my camera phone. Which now looking at this photo... probably makes this new collage look better than it really is. Doing a lot of work, but most of it I can't post since my family is SUPPOSE to be reading this and it is stuff for them.
The winter garden is in full swing! We have broccoli, kale, peas, chard, and yummy Buddhas. Here are a couple succulent creations I have made and am determined to try to sell these in my shop. I just have to figure out the best way to mail them.
My bestest friend in the entire world is about a month and a half older than I am. We have lived very similar lives and have a lot of strange cowinkidinks. Funny ones like a love for nutritional yeast on popcorn. Or that popcorn is dinner, or can be substituted for lunch, and a very acceptable and nutritious wholesome breakfast. Another is that our parents have been married a lot! In fact there are 8 marriages between them. And strange ones like both our dads have had colon cancer. So, with our fortieth birthday approaching technically we should be getting a colonoscopy around this age, due to our father's history. So here was her birthday card reminding her it is colonoscopy time!!!! Sorry for the bad photo, was running late to the party and didn't have time for a proper picture.
Ho Ho Holy Shit the holiday bomb has gone off. The holiday season is here and it has gotten busy! I took about a hundred billion trillion pictures today of just about everything in the house that wasn't nailed down and that I could sell. People will buy used dentures won't they? It is no secret that I am a messy person. But I also like it clean and have to have everything cleaned up before I start anything new. I have a long night ahead of me sewing, posting items to ebay and etsy, and lots of Dr. Pepper and Wheat Thins to eat. So I had to clean this dump up before I began anew. Yes, the house basically looks like this before and after everyday!
